Another brilliant morning at Tor Bridge High today for our PSSP Primary Inclusion Boccia event. We had 8 teams participating today in our friendly Boccia event, aimed at children of all abilities and experience. Prince Rock, Holy Cross, Cann Bridge, Eggbuckland Vale and Pennycross all brought teams along to take part in our relaxed, friendly competition where we play against as many different teams as possible in the time we have. These are always some of my favourite events as it is great to see so many children from different schools enjoying playing but more importantly sharing a mutual respect for each other. Throughout the event I was able to talk to different teams and we discussed the importance of determination.
Everyone agreed that the more they played, the better they became so it was a real testament to never giving up and practicing. Some of the children who took part today had never played before but we had some young leaders from Tor Bridge High on hand to guide them through and lead the games. I would like to say a huge thank you to the Sports Leaders for all of their help and enthusiasm, you were fantastic today! Thank you to all of the teachers and the teams that came along, I hope you all enjoyed it and would be keen to come back again. Our next Boccia event is on Friday 10th December, I hope to see you there.
