Students of the This morning I had the pleasure of presenting my Headteachers Award for the month to 3 of our fantastic yr12 students for their incredible performance as Lead members of the TBH Young Enterprise team who all presented to the Young Enterprise CEO in regional finals just before the Easter break

Police Search Dog

Great to be working with our local neighbourhood police. This Monday 27th February we welcomed officers into school with a trained Police Search Dog.

VISITING AUTHOR FOR BOOK WEEK 2023

As part of the English curriculum and our annual Book Week celebrations, we are delighted to welcome author Tanya Landman to Tor Bridge High on Monday 27th February. 

Ruby Rees, Sports Tie Award

We would like to congratulate Ruby Rees, who has recently been offered a trial with the England Karate Squad following a successful training camp with the national squad. She has dedicated her time to train and compete, becoming a black belt in 2020 despite the setbacks caused by the recent pandemic.

Sports Tie Awarded

We award the school sports tie to students who demonstrate high levels of commitment in school sport as well as recognising excellent achievements both in and outside of school by competing at county, national or international sport.

GOALS Tournament

Yesterday (25/1/23) our students represented TBH at a SEN 5-a-side football tournament at Goals. There were 6 teams that competed, from across the City and all of those that took part played fantastically well and represented Tor Bridge in a superb manner.

Careers Fair

This afternoon, we welcomed nearly 30 organisations into School including employers, colleges, apprenticeship providers and Universities for our Careers Fair! Including the Armed Forces, Babcock, Theatre Royal, UHPNT (Derriford Hospital), Discovery College, CTSW and University of Plymouth to name a few…

A massive well done to Isabell, our fantastic, Headteacher Student of the Month for October 2022. Isabelle was a wonderful ambassador for Tor Bridge High, when she spoke publicly about DLD (Developmental Language Disorder) to an audience which included the deputy Lord Mayor for Plymouth.

Shekinah Mission

During and after the pandemic, the Prince’s Trust students made and sold products to raise money for Shekinah Mission, a local homeless charity.
