Tor Bridge High contains four small schools, each with about three hundred students with their own Head of School and staff team. One of these schools (Cade) is the sixth form whilst the other three are for students aged 11-16. The schools are home bases with a strong family atmosphere where staff really get to know children and their families very well. The small school teams work very closely together but, needless to say, are also extremely competitive with one another!
We firmly believe that children and young people thrive in smaller, not larger, units where they work with staff who really know them and their families. Pooling our staff and resources will enable us to transform the way children and young people learn, with world class facilities, flexible room layouts and teaching groups they don’t always depend on learners being the same age.
